Heights Craftsman Home Vs. Heights Contemporary

A comparison of two Heights homes for sale.

Early 2014 Update: Whole Home Concepts is no longer builder spec homes in the Heights. They are still building unique customs homes in nearby areas. Call for info.

Typically the Heights offers very few single-story recent-construction homes. I have just listed a home I sold new in 2004. I am going to compare it to a similar sized home built almost a century earlier. Take your pick: contemporary style vs. Craftsman style homes. Both are lovingly cared for homes offering 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 car garage, similar size, with granite, recent appliances, etc.

This home started with the concept of efficiency in maintenance, energy, and use of space. The design also made privacy and security a major factor.

The brick and baked-on-finish rolled-steel exterior make for minimal maintenance.

Gated courtyard, brick & steel exterior. Angled walls, window placement for natural light and privacy. Stylish, minimalist, private. Open living space with tall ceilings, unique cork and hardwood floors. Two full tiled baths. Surround sound, LED lighting, intercom controlled entry. Ergonomic, grade level access.French doors leading to private, back yard. 2 car garage has skylight, wide alley for extra parking.

So, a choice between style of home. Both single story, both warm and inviting, but entirely different in looks and concept. A great thing about them both is the modern kitchen and 2 full baths. Click the links above for MLS info and photos of each.

These homes have sold of course, but Contact Me if I can help you find a unique home in the Heights.
